Host Hotel for Model A Fords

The Model A Ford Club of America is hosting its international convention right here in Marquette Michigan and we were chosen as the Host Hotel, and couldn’t be happier!

The Days Inn of Marquette and Comfort Suites of Marquette will be the temporary home for Model A Fords from all over. Our back lot will be secured but plenty will be parked for you to stop in and check out. Some of these vehicles are over 80 years old; restored to beauty!

The 2012 MAFCA International Convention, hosted by The Superior A’s happens every two years and this year will take place June 18 – 22.

Thursday, June 21 from 5-6pm Models will be lined up in the Negaunee / Ishpeming parade; from 7-9pm at NMU’s campus in the Superior Dome more Model A Fords on display; and Friday, June 22 Edsel Ford II, great-grandson of Henry Ford, will speak during the Farewell Banquet.
